1. Overview

Spartina Commerce Intelligence (“the Application”) is an internal analytics dashboard operated by Spartina Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”). The Application is hosted at https://data.spartina.tech. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect data when you use the Application.

2. Data We Collect

The Application aggregates business analytics data from authorized third-party platforms. When you connect a platform via OAuth, the Application may access and process the following types of data from that platform:

  • Account and profile information (e.g., username, display name, avatar)
  • Content you have published (e.g., posts, pins, videos, images)
  • Performance metrics for your content (e.g., impressions, engagement, saves, clicks, views, likes, comments, shares, watch time)
  • Audience and follower statistics (e.g., follower count, reach, demographics)
  • Board and pin listings (for Pinterest)
  • Other analytics data returned by the authorized API

The Application also processes website traffic analytics (via Google Analytics 4) and ecommerce analytics (via Fourthwall Open API), including visitors, sessions, orders, revenue, and conversion data.

All data is combined for internal business analysis and reporting purposes only.

3. OAuth and Third-Party Platform Access

The Application uses OAuth 2.0 to connect to third-party platforms, which may include:

  • Pinterest (Pinterest API v5)
  • Facebook Pages (Meta Graph API)
  • Instagram (Meta Graph API)
  • TikTok (TikTok Login Kit / Display API)
  • YouTube (YouTube Data API v3 and YouTube Analytics API)

When you authorize the Application to access a platform, you grant it permission to read the data specified by the OAuth scopes you approve. The Application only requests read-only access to analytics and content data. The Application does not publish, modify, or delete content on your behalf.

Access tokens and refresh tokens are stored securely and used solely to retrieve authorized analytics data. You may revoke access at any time through the respective platform's settings.

4. How We Use Data

Data collected through the Application is used for:

  • Displaying unified analytics across connected platforms
  • Tracking social media performance and engagement trends
  • Combining social analytics with website traffic and ecommerce data for internal business analysis
  • Generating reports and dashboards for internal use

5. Data Sharing and Sale

We do not sell personal data. We do not share data collected through the Application with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Data is used exclusively for internal business analytics.

The Application transmits data to the third-party platforms it connects to (e.g., Pinterest, Meta, TikTok, Google) only to the extent necessary to retrieve authorized analytics. Each platform's privacy policy applies to data processed on their servers.

6. Data Storage and Security

The Application is hosted on Vercel (a cloud platform) and uses secure HTTPS connections for all data transmission. OAuth tokens are stored server-side and are not exposed to the browser. Access to the Application is restricted to authorized users.

Analytics data from connected platforms is cached in memory for the duration of an active session. Persistent storage of analytics data may be implemented in future updates using encrypted database storage.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Revoke OAuth access for any connected platform at any time
  • Request deletion of cached analytics data
  • Request information about what data is being accessed

To exercise these rights, contact us at the email provided in Section 9, or revoke access directly through the respective platform's application settings.

8. Cookies

The Application does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It uses essential session mechanisms to maintain authentication state. Google Analytics 4 may use first-party cookies to measure website traffic on the Application's domain.
